But Rahman, still only 24 years old, insists he has far more to come. "I've lifted 310kg many times before, and even here in London in training," he said. "I wanted to do more than 301kg, but they would not let me have a fourth attempt." "I have an agenda reaching records above 350kg and I intend to set the historic record of 400 kg," he said. His coach, Ali Asghar, is happy that Rahman will deliver the goods. He said: "He is the strongest disabled man in the world. We are very confident that he will win." A new 50kg weight disc has been designed specifically for the Games in London, particularly with Rahman in mind. Jon Amos, chairman of Sport and Technical Committee for IPC Powerlifting, said: "We have introduced them for the bigger players because, otherwise, the bar is not going to be safe (the weights would be too wide for the spotters)."

Members, of the Islamic Center, were allowed back into their place of worship for the first time on Wednesday. Once power was restored to the building, they learned that much more had been lost than they had anticipated. "Every single room is damaged. Smoke and water damage also covers the walls, floors and ceiling tiles of many other rooms in the facility. Manal Elshiekh, a 2nd grade teacher at the Islamic Center, said almost everything in her classroom "was destroyed". "Everything, even the materials we did with our own hands, the kids artwork, and materials got destroyed," Elshiekh said as she fought back tears. Islam says that in the week since the fire, members have received an outpouring of support from people in both the Islamic and non-Islamic Communities. The Islamic Center President adds that she hopes the incident will also unite the community to call for justice in the case she considers an "attack on Muslims and "a hate crime". "People ...

The Anti-Anti-Islam Film TV Ad By US in Pakistan Repudiating Film
Selected for the 2012 non-partisan campaign coverage at Listitude: Please subscribe to our channel: www.youtube.com More On Benghazi Attack: www.youtube.com Web: www.listitude.com This is the controversial TV commercial broadcast in Pakistan, in which President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appologize for the film trailer about Islam and the Islamic Prophet Mohammed that is reputed to have ignited discontent and protests in Pakistan and elsewhere in the Islamic world. They point out it had nothing to do with the US government. This TV ad pursues the consistent theme of the US officials that the unrest was sparked by a tasteless (poorly made) film trailer. This stance has become a subject of debate in the 2012 election between Pres. Obama and Mitt Romney. The position of the Obama campaign has been the terrorist attack and murders in Libya were prompted by the film and therefore they needed to diffuse the Islamic outrage. On the other hand, detractors have argued that the apologies tend to reinforce the radicals in the Islamic world because it provides a partial accomplishment of a goal of humiliating America, and thereby promotes fiurther violence and unrest. What do you think? This video includes statements by President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and the seal of the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.
